G.I K9's board and train program is a necessary service that includes the dog's complete care, training, and board during his or her stay at our facility. When we take in your dog we assess their needs and treat them accordingly. Dogs may be placed in various levels of care to address what they need specifically.
What is Board and Train?
Board and train is a program in which the dog's owner drops off their dog with us, so that we can take complete care of him or her. The dog will be trained on obedience, simple and complex exercises, as well as any other, needed the training to make them a better canine citizen. After the training is complete, the dogs will stay in our care to ensure they are ready to return home.
What is Extended Board and Train?
Extended board and train is one of our most popular services because it allows the owner greater flexibility during their dog's stay than our normal board and train program. Extended board and train is where the dog's owner comes to us with a long-term plan for their dog. This service covers the dog's basic training, as well as any special training they might need in order to be successful working or living with other people. We work with the owner to ensure that their dog will be ready to go home when they return.
Where does the Boarding Process begin?
When you drop off your dog for any of our services (extended board and train, basic training, or just a few days of quality care), we will work with you to create an individualized care plan. This plan will detail everything that we do while caring for your dog and the timeline in which we will complete it. This plan allows you have peace of mind that your dog is receiving the best possible care while staying with us so you can relax knowing they are in good hands.
